Below are comments made by some of our satisfied Clients...
‘Ability have been supplying high quality oxides for our premium “Gattistone” paving range for over 15 years and when we were approached to supply samples to the design team for the prestigious St Kilda Foreshore Promenade there was only one product that we considered using, the abilox® range of colours.
Having used abilox® on other high profile projects including Federation Square, we were confident that the range of oxides could meet not only the colour requirements of the “Site Office” design team, but also exceed the quality requirements of the end customer, City of Port Phillip.
For the design team this project was very much about colour and the impact that it could bring to the overall look, while for the City of Port Phillip, the high priority was for longevity of colour.
After initial colour sampling was complete and abilox® oxides had been specified, Ability provided us with the supply of oxides for what was an extensive secondary sampling process to choose the eleven different colours and finishes required by the design.
The Manager at Ability, Peter Grey, took time out of his busy schedule to meet the design staff at Site Office and answer any questions they had with regard to the permanency and colour fastness of abilox® oxides.
As usual, the whole team at Ability went out of their way to assist us and our clients in the supply of products for a first class paving outcome’.

SVC Concrete Products Pty Ltd
‘Crafted landscapes has been trading for 30 years.
We choose to use Ability’s abilox® oxides in all our concrete works - I find them very consistent and even in colour through the concrete, whether it is a slightly textured wood float, smooth steel float, non-slip stippled broom finish, or used in extremely popular washed exposed aggregate finishes for drives and other pavement surfaces.
There is a great range of colours to choose from which is particularly useful for our concrete sculpture work.
Some of our concrete sculpture projects utilising abilox® oxides can be seen at these places:
Finns Reserve Templestowe (now called Wombat Bend): ‘All Abilities Play Space’ at Wombat Bend, includes all concrete surfaces there.
Stiggants Reserve, Warrandyte: Lizard.
Platypus and Dry Creek at Beasleys Nursery, Warrandyte.
Tortoise at The Lakes School in South Morang.
Three Lizards at Ruffy Lake Park (Entry; Victoria Street, Doncaster)
Amphitheatre and Snake at West Preston Primary School, Jesse Street, West Preston.
I find the service and advice at Ability excellent. The staff are extremely helpful and efficient. A good company to deal with whether it is for their oxide colours, Geo® concrete paint finishes, including the Paint in any colour we require, or their admixtures for concrete.
Ability are an entirely professional Company! Their helpful printed information and their specific verbal advice match their ideal of providing sustainable quality products’.
